Chelsea issue Callum Hudson-Odoi update as he recovers from coronavirus



Chelsea have officially stated that Callum Hudson-odoi is now “feeling fine” following his positive test to coronavirus.

The blues young forward tested positive for COVID-19 on March 13, less than 24 hours after the English Premier league has been suspended due to the outbreak.

As a result, Chelsea sent the first-team squad and head coach into a period of isolation.

While battling coronavirus, Hudson-odoi has always been in good spirit and now there is even better news regarding his recovery.

Chelsea posted a message on their official website which reads: “Further good news from Hudson-Odoi’s recovery from COVID-19…

“We are pleased to report that Callum Hudson-Odoi is now feeling fine and back to his normal self following his period of self-isolation required after the player was tested positive for COVID-19.

“In addition to feeling good, the young winger is hard at work training at home to build and maintain his fitness, as at the rest of the Chelsea squad”.

As at the time of this report, Hudson-Odoi took to social media soon after to reassure supporters he was recovering well.
